trailFrom April there will once again be a monthly opportunity to join a Faith Trail in inner Bradford.   Ever wondered what’s in that local Church, Muslim Mosque, Hindu Temple – or that Sikh Gurdwara?  The Bradford Faith Trail offers you a chance to discover a little bit more about these faith buildings and about the faiths within.  The Faith Trail is just a one mile stroll down Leeds Road in Bradford 3, starting at St Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 651 Leeds Road BD3 8EL and takes in the following fascinating places of worship:

● The Abu Bakar Masjid (Mosque)
● The Shree Lakshmi Narayan Hindu Temple
● The Guru Gobind Singh Ji Sikh Gurdwara (Sikh Temple); and
● Bradford Cathedral

The Trail will run on the first Saturday of every month, from April to November inclusive, starting at 10.30am and can be walked on foot in a day. Individuals, families and groups are all most welcome to come along.  Refreshments and food will be offered along the way.  At the Gurdwara you will be given Langar, the traditional vegetarian Sikh meal. There is no charge for Langar it is offered as traditional Sikh hospitality.

You can visit as many places of these places of worship as you like – or all of them – and you will be shown round and escorted to the next venue by experienced guides.
