A day for those who work with or care for people with Dementia
A days for linking up those who are involved with problems brought to them by clients, parishioners and participants in churches, community centres and drop in centres, as well as individuals who are caring for people with dementia, with those who work with these client groups, including solicitors with legal aid contacts, Citizens Advice Bureaus, Colleges, Mental Health Workers and practitioners. There will be a workshop for people living with Dementia with qualified key workers providing appropriate activities.
There are workshops for volunteers and activists, and for those with lived experience of Dementia.
Workshops are in the areas of Mental Health.
At workshops, we will explore the experience, sketch the field of provision and issues, and signpost different volunteering and partnership possibilities.
Stands in the main convention room for providers of services to display their information and referral pathways.
This is a free event and refreshments and lunch will be provided by LCI.
