Praying for Baildon

Praying for Baildon (Formerly The Fellowship of St Andrew)

St Andrews Fellowship

What is the Praying for Baildon?

Praying for Baildon is a group of people who pray regularly for Baildon, both its churches and community. We began in 2009 (as the Fellowship of St Andrew), and are connected to Churches Together in Baildon.

We now meet monthly from April to October in various venues around Baildon, with a review and planning meeting in November. Sometimes we gather for prayer breakfasts, or go on prayer walks, for instance using the leaflets we have written for each of the Churches and elsewhere, as noted on the previous page. From time to time we prepare other aids to prayer, such as the present booklet.

We do this because we believe that prayer connects us with the Father God, who is our life, through Jesus; that he hears us when we pray; that prayer really does matter; and that Baildon needs prayer.

If you would like to join us in praying for Baildon, you would be very welcome
