Family worship

We are always pleased to welcome families and children to our 10 o’clock Sunday Worship. Please do not worry if your child makes some noise!

Sunday Morning Provision for Babies and Toddlers

A “Baby and Toddler Corner” is provided at the rear of the Church with some quiet toys and books for parents to care for their children, whilst also taking part in the service.

Stay and Play

At the same time as our 10:00am Sunday Worship, children are invited to attend Stay and Play.

Stay and Play usually meet in Wesleys Café area, with toys, toast and bible-based crafts.

The children choose from a variety of activities including sand, dough, imaginative play, construction kits and games.

Grown-ups stay with their children or those aged five and over can be left with our volunteers while their adults go into church.

For the last part of the Service, everyone meets back in church.

Stay and Play is very informal and relaxed. Children play whilst parents, grandparents and carers have coffee and a chat.

All are welcome – just turn up at 10am.

All-age Family Worship

The second Sunday mornings of most months (and occasionally others Sundays) are especially designed for all ages to worship together.

These services are led by people with a special interest in inclusive inter-generational worship. We aim that these services should offer something of value to both adults and children.

On the weeks when The Adventurers meet in their own group, they come in to join the adult congregation towards the end of morning worship so that we all close our morning worship session together.

Parade Services

Our very active uniformed organisations for young people are especially invited to attend All-Age Worship and the flags are paraded on three Sundays each year.

If you have a baby or young toddler you may also be interested in our Friday morning

See & Know Group

See and Know is a Play Group for new born to 3 year olds.

It’s a fun, safe, environment for children to develop their social and physical skills; also for moms to meet new friends and have time to chat over a cup of coffee.
